A real estate developer
To create a comfortable apartment for a family of three members.
As it usually happens, the design solution for this space came from its initial setup: The ceiling originally had only 2 wooden beams which wouldn't fit elegantly into the space if we left them alone. So, if we couldn’t hide them, we’ve decided to multiply them, placing them in a way that will equilibrate the space. This was the key element which gave the stylistic direction of this apartment. Thereby, we’ve decided to bet on a design solution that would harmoniously fit the wooden beams on the ceiling and would be easy to love - a clean one, with a touch of nature. Because, who doesn’t love nature? So, we’ve used natural shades of beige, ochre, green and anthracite. Hay, wood and clay make adorable artistic accents and enhance the presence of nature in this space.
Functionally this apartment consists of an open-space area, a master bedroom with a master bathroom and a walk-in closet, one kids room, a shared bathroom and a technical room. In each of these spaces we aimed to keep the same aesthetics, but making small differences from one room to another, according to their purpose. So the open-space area, which consists of a living room, kitchen and the dining zone is clean, warm and welcoming.
The bedroom is more intimate, while the kids room is bright, playful and adjustable to the kid’s age and preferences.
